Welcome to my blog

I have created this spot to be a place of inspiration, so I decided to start with one of my favorite Bible verses. I believe that it shows how God wants the best things for our lives. Just like many of you who are reading this, I have seen evidence of God working through my life. And I have also come face to face with the power of prayer.

Feel free to leave me comments as I believe we each inspire each other. If you need prayer, I would be happy to pray for you.

  1. Cindy what a kind and unselfish heart you have. My DH can always use prayer for his body to heal especially the damaged brain from the stroke. I wished you lived near me as I could so use a friend who understands the main purpose of our destiny, purpose, and works in this life that God has given us with the hope that we will be more like him. Since my DH stroke I have once again been reminded that most people will gather around you if every thing is ok with you and your life, but as soon as something happens where you can't live the same as you did before, you're left behind and alone. They move on with life and your left to endure your heartache or pain by yourself. They care but they just don't want to deal with the unpleasantness of the situation anymore. I have seen this time and time again with people and have actually lived it 3 times myself with tragedy. It is always nice to meet someone no matter how far that shows a kindness of caring. Bless you girl! It's an honor to follow you here. Hugs Deb

  2. Oh Deb,
I know exactly what you are saying and it's as if when things are "going right," people are happy to be there for the good times...When the road gets bumpy, they don't want to be reminded that it can happen to them.

That often leaves us going through a hard time feeling that there is no one....And yes, it is a comfort knowing that God hears our prayers and guides our steps. But, additionally I think we are all here to help each other see possibilities and to pray for a wonderful outcome no matter what someone's circumstances are.

That's why I always think that it is important to be a "listening ear" for someone--even someone we may come in contact with while out running errands...we never know what a difference it can make to someone...

Well, I can tell you this--I feel so blessed to feel your cheerful spirit!
It even comes across in your beautiful work and reminds me of the description of "A Woman of Valor" in the Bible where it says "Her price is far above rubies." Your husband has been blessed, indeed, with a wonderful wife who is so caring...Just as he is a blessing to you, no doubt, you are a blessing to him.
    Hugs,
    Cindy

  4. Cindy~

This just so happens to be my favorite verse too...I am sure noticed at the top of my blog during your visit. It is a reminder to me every day that God is in control of my everything and that with Him I have no worries because He has the best plan for me.

    Hugs, Tami
