Believe in Your Dreams

Hi Everyone,

On Sunday, my husband and I went to the beach--to the Gulf of Mexico, to be exact. I had not been there since February, and being from California, it's hard for me to go that long without waves and sand. Here is a pic I took with my cell phone. Why there is a "pink glow" on the beach is beyond me, but I thought it was kind of magical.

While I was there, I thought of a friend of mine who loves the beach and wants to move south, but right now is living in the northwestern part of the U.S. So, I collected shells on Sunday and decided to send them her way...they are all ready!

But, they come with an important message attached and that is "Dreams DO come true!" For without our dreams, how would we accomplish what we need to do? They are the fuel that gets our engines moving through life...and asking God for direction, He leads us where we need to be. So, this message is for all of you too--LIVE your dreams!!!

Blessings & hugs,

  1. You are a great friend, to send her the shells hand gathered by you, with the message that dreams do come true.

  2. That is so sweet of you Cindy. And I believe that dreams come true too, in one way or another. We just have to be "available" to receive them.

  3. It is nice to still have a dream or two waiting to come forth. We all need dreams, but especially hope.

  4. Oh, Cindy, I am blessed to have you as my friend. Thank you SO much for such a wonderful gift. Beyond the shells, though, is the love behind it...and the hopeful, encouraging message. Thank you for that reminder (which I especially need as we move into yet another winter in a land I hate so much!!!).

And when I DO get back to the South, you can bet you and I will walk on the beach together...and talk about the goodness of God.

By the way, the photo of the ocean is beyond gorgeous....I LOVE the blueness of the water and the pink glow of the sand. TOTALLY gorgeous!!!

    Love and great big hugs,

  5. Oh so sweet girl!!

    Love the shore line picutre.

  7. Hi Cindy,
I'm glad to hear that you had such a nice trip! Don't you just love walking the beach and collecting shells? To me that is just so relaxing. I know your friend will be happy to receive them :)

  8. Hi Cindy,
The beach with the pink glow is beautiful, wish I were there. How nice of you to gift the shells, beautiful gesture.

The picture of Hannah is taken in my car, how funny you would notice :)

  9. Thats so sweet of you to do that.
You are always thinking of others. You are my inspiration for many things my friend.

  10. How nice! Those shells are beautiful!

  11. What a wonderfully special picture of the beach Cindy. I was given some shells by a very special old lady whose husband had collected them for her out of love. These are real treasures of mine so I can understand how your friend will treasure hers! xxx

  12. Wish we had shells like this on our nearest beach lol in fact the photo of your beach view is simply stunning!

I have many blessings I should count them and I will not go green with envy at your beautiful view. ;0)

I live where there are many beautiful country views and historical houses here in the NW of the UK thank you for sharing though

    Love Dawn xx
