Weekend Question and Fabulous Artist

Hi Everyone--

This has certainly been a week of miracles. We see God’s work everywhere we go..and it is a blessing.

My friend Yvonne was so sweet to let me present her work on my blog and I love this piece...It is so serene and angelic. I wanted to share it with you this weekend and bring smiles to your faces!

And, as you know, every weekend, I ask you a question and hope that you will answer it on here...(No need to make a link at all--easy, peasy!)

So, here’s my question--”What do you want to be when you grow up?”

I can’t wait to see your answers.

I am linking this up to Spiritual Sundays--big hugs to all my friends from there too!!!!

Also, if you would like to visit Yvonne and say "hi," please click on her name up above and it will take you right to her blog.

Love,
Cindy

  1. Oh, Cindy, you are playing tricks with my mind now. I LOVE IT!!! Okay, initial answer is, "I don't wanna grow up." But let me sleep on it and come back for a second answer tomorrow. I'm actually a little blue tonight so I want one coming from a joyful heart. Come to think of it, maybe this one is. :) Love and hugs.

  2. Hi Cindy,
Beautiful artwork from Yvonne. She is one talented lady.
Let's see, that question is a challenge since I may never really grow up. Being an artist, it helps to keep one thinking like a child. LOL
I have to give this one some thought.

Thank you for stopping by and your kind comment. Hope you have a great weekend my friend.
    Hugs and Blessings,
    Celestina Marie

  3. I can't say that I want to grow up either! But I think I want to be many different things and to be good at all of them. Lovely art today from your friend. I love it.

  4. I know...a beach bum. Yeah! No, wait, how about a world traveler? But, then again, I love being at home so I guess a front porch (wrap around type) rockin' grandma living in a house in Georgia somewhere (a dream of mine) sipping sweet tea and chatting away with some of my southern accent speaking friends. I can pretend to have one too. Yeah, that's it. I see it clearly.

  5. This is a really lovely artwork piece from Yvonne! I thought about this question overnight before answering it...I want to spend my time being artistically creative and I want to stay young at heart and full of whimsy, even as I am aging physically!

  7. Love the artwork! I know what I want to be! I want to be a stay at home Mom for the last few years of my daughter being in school. I've never had that chance. To top it off, I'd love to be married to an amazing, loving man and be free to create to my heart's content.

  9. I am and have what I want to be when I grow up. I have a store to play in, bunches of nice friends, a great, loving and caring husband.
I have all my fun art treasures to play with. I have tea and sweets with friends in my own little tea shop.
I am 62 outside, 35 inside and physically, and fluctuate between 8 and ? emotionally.
I enjoy walks with my Lord, holding His hand. I cry on His shoulder when I am sad.
    I laugh out loud.
    Need I say more??

Not sure I answered your question sweet girl.
But sure had fun thinking of all those things.

    hugs and blessings

  10. Hello Cindy, Yes your angel picture above is dreamy. The more you look at it the more you can't express the right words to describe it???
Anyhow...when I was young all I wanted to be was a singer and a ballet dancer. I am neither. All I want now is to see my children happy. Currently both my sons are unhaappy. The youngest one Lee-Joels is inconsolable over his relationship break-up. This morning he said ALL women are selfish, he was talking suicide. I prayed with another Christian friend about him..I pray anyone who reads this prays also. It would hurt him if I wrote about this on my Blog and asked for prayer....but I can here. God bless you heaps xxx

  12. Oh my, I am so glad I came back yet again. I am most certainly praying for Crystal Mary's son. I can so relate and I have much hope for her. Will give her a visit.

I wanted to add that besides the fun answer I gave you earlier this week, what I want to be when I grow up is the perfect image of my Savior. Love you my friend. Have a beautiful weekend.

  18. Hi Cindy... This painting is lovely and very romantic :) :)

Hmm...what do I want to be when I grow up? I want to be happily married...a mom, living on a farm out in the country or somewhere...earning a living by working from home....really simple, right? :) :) :) I want to have a home that makes people h appy to be there and still happy after they leave :) :) Hmm...nto sure how those details will work themselves out...but one thing I know for sure is that I want to make a living from doing what I LOVE...Love and hugs from Oregon, Heather :)

  21. What a beautiful picture! So restful and lovely.

And at 50-something, I still have half my life left (if I follow in one grandparent's footsteps), so I'm looking forward to God continuing to use me as He sees fit - hopefully with lots of writing, which I'm enjoying, and maybe eventually adding some speaking to that! And, of course, LOTS of fun and active game activities for grandparents and grandchildren with my grandkids which keeps me too young to totally grow up! :)

Have a blessed and safe holiday weekend! :)
