God's Goodness

This tag holds a very important message for all of us today--that, in fact, God’s goodness IS everywhere. Yes, we all know that there are tears and loss and illness. But, it is astounding that even in the midst of those experiences, people can see the blessings that flow from a loving heavenly Father....It can be in the heart of a friend who offers a kind word. It can be found in the outreached hand of a person who helps in the midst of financial loss. Yes, God’s goodness abounds...

This week, look for it...See where it shines into your own life--and then, share it with us on here--we’d love to hear it! By looking for it, we can start to become more aware of how he interacts personally in our lives.

And when you find something (even small) about how He is manifest in your life or the lives of others, please put the comment under this post (even if it’s a week later) because I can’t wait to see what wonderful discoveries you are making!

This image from The Graphics Fairy is actually an outreached hand holding raspberries. Commercial papers and embellishments used.

Linking this up to Rednesday.

And Word Filled Wednesday.

And Hearts on Fire.

  2. Beautiful tag!! You do gorgeous work.

You know, several years ago, when my husband was only a few months in to what turned out to be 25 months of unemployment, the Lord prompted me to begin a "blessings journal." Even in the midst of bleak times, I felt led to record 5 things each day for which to give thanks. At first it was hard, because I didn't think I had anything for which to give thanks since circumstances were so bad...but as I began to do it, my eyes were opened to all that I had. And, eventually, I even began to thank God FOR my difficult circumstances, because through those circumstances we saw his power more than we ever had before. (Anonymous letters in the mailbox, with cash in them. Groceries at the door...an offer to do some custodial work, etc.) So, even our trials can become a source of thanksgiving.

    Have a lovely day,
    Patti

I may be sporadic in posting and visiting as I adjust to a different schedule.
I love the new graphics. Very beautiful and calming. Many blessings, Debbie
