Guest Artist: Joan

http://reflectionsofhisgrace.blogspot.com/

In these troubled economic times, the verse contained in Joan’s beautiful picture is balm for a troubled soul--and a hope. For in it, we are told that we do not have to worry, but rather, our needs will be met.

Matthew 6:28: And why take you thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin.

This is a concept that is keenly important to remember. Armored with this statement, we can free ourselves from any worry and move into the comfort zone of faith. This verse is our gateway to true respite from stress.

Contemplate on it and be at peace.

Meditate on it and receive joy.

Thank you, Joan for being part of our transformation from “worry” to “worry-free.” I join you all in this spiritual quest.

This verse has brought comfort to me many times. I'm so thankful we have a loving Heavenly Father that cares about every aspect of our lives. As LauraLee said, as we focus on Him, peace and joy come.

Thank you for featuring me as the guest artist. I'm truly humbled.

    Blessings,
    Joan

  4. That is so true. It's just what the world needs now, peace and re-assurance and relief from the stress that is caused by things we can't control, like this bad economy.

  7. Yes, we worry, and the rest of creation just goes about its business in content. If we'd only trust what His Word says. . . .
