Praying Hands

Guest Artist: Debi

If you look very closely, you will notice that this fabric contains the picture of praying hands. Debi is a wonderful designer who incorporates vintage fabric into her creations.

To me, the praying hands are a reminder that we need to look upward to find our answers...We may not know where we are going in life, nor how we are going to get there...but God does.

How many times have you ever said to someone, “Oh, I’ll pray for you” when they’ve had a problem? Have you actually done it every time? Sometimes it is easy to let it slip our minds...

If you are pressed for time, a wonderful prayer is, “Dear Lord, please lift (name of person) up and bring your peace to them as they go through this difficult time....I pray that they will feel your love and your assuring hand in all matters of their life...I put my faith in you to guide their lives...”

It can be as simple as that.

Whenever you see the praying hands, let it serve as a reminder that God is always listening....all you need to do is turn to Him.

Thank you, Debi, for this beautiful spiritual reminder.

  2. Thank you Cindy for the opportunity to be a guest artist of yours! This was a wonderful birthday present! I love the post!

I haven't been able to visit here lately because I have been totally swamped with custom orders, but I can't believe how fast you are growing with followers! That's wonderful! I read some of what you have posted lately. I am amazed at how your mind works and how you look at things that then become such soulful written blessings.

Hugs to you and God Bless, and thank you for the birthday present. A beautiful post from a simple embroidered piece and after tomorrow some little girl will be wearing this darling little dress and hopefully many who see her in it, will see the same message you saw too, and not just the dress. :) I'm glad our paths have crossed. I feel most honored to know you!

    May God Bless you Always!
