A Very Special "Thank You"

This blog has only been in existence for 3 weeks...and it would not have been possible to sustain it without the love and caring of some very special women. I want to take this time to thank them for being such a support. They emailed me when I needed to ask questions on how to do things...I want to thank them for being inspiring and believing in this as much as I do....

Those women probably know who they are, but I want you to know their names. They are Margaret, Faye, Maria, Barbara, and Dore....they spent so much time doing so much to make this place possible for all of you. I just wanted you to know that...I love them for who they are and for what they mean to me and how they inspire me daily, sometimes hourly, with their kindness.

This blog isn't about me or for me...It's about all of you and your relationship with the Lord and your joy to express it and inspire others. And each day, the Lord brings more special people into my life...People like June and Angela and Coleen and Linda and Cheryl and Kelly and Debra and Patty and Anni and Suzanne and Peggy and Tami and Hillbilly Wife and Christine and the list goes on and on...One more day is one more person who becomes part of this circle. Some people just came last week for the first time and already feel like family....They inspire all of us with their wisdom and make us feel nurtured in their presence.

I am touched. I am moved. I am grateful.

As you probably know, I am a writer for the newspaper here. But, sometimes when I go out to talk to people, I say to myself when the article is written, "It's what didn't make the paper that are the amazing stories." It's the things people say to me while adding, "But, don't put that part in." Okay, I won't. I promise.

But, it's sort of the same thing here on this blog....Each person comes in with a story and some of you might not realize what a person had to go through or even what sacrifice they made when they didn't feel well but put a post on anyway. That is the miracle here. That people care enough to share enough to make a difference in the lives of others.

I am indeed blessed to know you all. For those of you who just started, I am so happy you are here. To "Spiritual Sundays" and "Fearless Friday" participants, you have been so wonderful to share all of your joy and wisdom with everyone and we are so moved by you coming to be part of something that does so much for so many. I am praying for all of you. I ask that the Lord blesses your life and brings you peace, joy, and happiness.

This is just "a little corner of the world," but you have all made it a wonderful place to come home to when there is a need to feel uplifted.
Hugs,
Cindy

  2. Hi Cindy,
God is calling each one of us to do our part. He found a way to let you know that this is what you needed to do to reach all of us. Your blog will only grow as does his love for us.

It's great that I get to be a part of it too. For what ever reasons, I left my bible un-opened but after going to other's blogs and reading their posts, I have been so inspired to open the bible daily and share it with my two growing boys.

I am very thankful for that, had this not happened, that bible would still be sitting on the shelf, un-opened, un-read, un-touched.

  3. I think the neatest part is feeling like people can stop in at any point, get inspiration, and leave some behind for others...It becomes one circle--each person helping the next...it is so awesome!!

Just like you Maria--people read your Bible story yesterday and probably thought, "I need to open up mine too!" The best part is having so many positive verses that everyone shared, so we can look them all up and underline them. So inspiring!

  8. Thank you so much Cindy for thinking of me and inviting me to come over here to this wonderful blog of yours. God touches us each one everyday in ways that we don't always expect. He sends angels in the disguise of friends who lift us up when we can't get up on our own.

    Hugs XX
