Asking for Your Prayers

Hi Everyone...
Little did I know when I started a prayer blog that I would need your prayers--but I do now....

On Saturday night, my husband had chest pains, was taken by ambulance to the hospital, had suffered a heart attack and is going in for surgery tomorrow....

To say the least, I am scared beyond belief and I'd love to sound braver, but I can't...
(You know me by now--I say what I feel.)

I am asking for your prayers and hope that you will ask the Lord to bless him and keep him well.

Also, Jan of Bobbypins Boardwalk just received word that her mother, Maxine is ill and she needs your prayers, as well...

Thank you dear friends and I will keep you updated. And please, if you have not read my miracle story about the picture of Jesus, just scroll down 2 posts and it is there with the picture.

Hugs,
Cindy

  1. Oh my goodness, Cindy,
I am praying for you and your husband, and for his total recovery. I really do think that the image of Jesus appeared to you last week to give you some comfort in all that you are facing. Please try and hold on to that comfort, and know that we are praying for you both. Sending you big hugs. Take care!

  5. Praying for you and your husband. The song "He is with you" by Mandisa keeps playing in my head.. He is there, in the boat with you, even though the storm may seem to be raging around you.

  6. May the Lord heal your husband according to His perfect will. I pray for peace and comfort for both your husband and you. I pray for wisdom and clear direction for the doctors. Your husband will be fine. I believe that.

  7. Definitely will remember your husband in my prayers, I am sorry to hear of this. May God comfort you while you wait through surgery, and may He protect your husband and guide his doctors through out the procedure.

  8. Oh, Cindy, I am so glad you came over to my blog. Yes, I will be praying for you and your husband. This same thing happened to my 43 year old son about this time last year. So I know it is a time of testing our faith and walking what we believe. God will see both of you through this.

    Prayers and love,
    Dianne

  9. Cindy,
You have my prayers. I will make it a point to pray for your husband all day tomorrow, for the surgery to go well and for his healing. I will also tell my family so they can all pray.
You have been a tremendous blessing to me and I'm sure countless other bloggers. It's the least we can do to pray for you and your husband until he is healed.
Remember that the Holy Spirit is your helper. You don't have to carry the weight, He is the one who is right by your side to help you. He will give you wisdom and strength. He is good and wants to do only good for us. We just have to trust Him.
Please do keep us updated, and we will keep praying.
God bless your husband and you with excellent health! {{Here's a big hug for you}} If you need anything else or even more specific prayers, please don't hesitate to ask.
    Renee

  13. Hi Cindy, Thank you for the e-mail. I came over here to your blog to read your latest posts. It occurred to me. I believe the miracle you shared was to give you assurance that he is with you. I know you are scared, but I'm praying you will receive comfort knowing that your friends are praying for you and Ralph.

  14. Thank you for listing my mom, as well, Cindy. She was so happy to know that some of the bloggers were praying for her. She participates in the prayer chain at church and knows how the power of prayer has affected the lives of people.

I've lifted you and your husband, with your entire family up to the Lord in prayer. I pray that God will guide the hands of the doctors and nurses, give them wisdom, provide peace and calm to your husband, and give you and you family strength tomorrow and during the coming days during your husband's recovery. I know you will let us know how he is doing tomorrow, if time allows.

  17. Hello my dear friend,
This is my prayer...I am writing it as the Lord gives it to me...so you may read it along with me and say Amen at the end...that way we are two, in agreement. Our Lord tells us, If two agree in prayer as for anything on earth, it will be done by our Father in Heaven.

Dear Lord God in Heaven, All is in your hands and we praise your Holy name. Father, Ralph needs your wisdom and knowledge given to the doctors for this operation. Father, please be their hands and their minds as they perform with the most diligent care and safety. Lord God please give Ralph your assurance love and peace that you are there close by, that he is safe with you and that as your child you will hold him close at all times. We praise and thank you Lord with all our hearts. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Lord I also pray you remain close to Cindy, please give her the peace that goes beyond all understanding. Let her know all is going to be well, and that as believers we are not loosers, we are always with you. Thank you Lord, In Jesus name. Amen.
I will continue to lift you both up in prayer. CMLxxxx

  19. Cindy,
God is soooo! good to us, the power of us all calling on him will speak out loud in prayer for your husband.
There is nothing more powerful to change our lives and the lives of those around us than God's hand moving in response to our heartfelt, continued prayer. The prayers of the righteous have a powerful effect... when we pray believe God hears us. John 11:41-42

Take on a calm and we are praying girl for you and your husband as well as the doctors caring for him.
    Love yah!
    xoxo

  29. Cindy, I am praying--for your husband, for Jan's mother, for you. God is control.

Father, I ask that you surround Cindy and loved ones with your peace. Let Your presence be evident to them. I ask that You send angels to surround her husband in that hospital. Assign the doctors, the nurses, the staff and all involved. Guide their hands and supply them with Your wisdom.

I ask that You would also bring healing and peace to Jan and her mother, Maxine. You work all things together for our good. May they see Your eternal purposes in the midst of their temporary conditions.

Thank You, Father, for Your will is always perfect. In Jesus' name. Amen.

  51. Dearest Cindy. I have had an uneasy feeling that something wasn't right and you've been on my heart. God bless you both. Being scared is something we hope we won't be, but it happens. I know. That's why I pray for peace so often. And I'll be praying for the same for both you and your husband. I haven't posted much lately because of so much going on, so I was a little concerned when I checked in and read your post. I pray that the news is good and that He will wash you and your husband in his healing blood and His all perfect peace. With many loving thoughts, Cindy.
