Monday Message--"What Do You Believe In?"
Guest Artist: Sherry
http://scrappingwithsherry1.blogspot.com/
When I saw this beautiful tag created by our guest artist, Sherry, I knew that I wanted to feature it on this blog. The reason? Because it holds such a message of hope.
When you think of all the things that each of us believes in, it is quite mind-boggling. For instance, we may believe that it’s important show kindness toward others. We may believe that it is important to get to work on time. We may believe that honesty is an all-important quality to possess.
You see, it is our thoughts and what we believe in that shape how we live our lives. When I saw the word on Sherry’s tag, I immediately thought of hope in the future and to believe in possibilities. For each of us it is different. It becomes a prompt, so to speak, on which we can project whatever we feel. It is an exercise in values.
What do you believe in? Try to contemplate on that and assess how it plays out in your life on a daily basis.
One more thing: On Friday, I will pose a question to you...If you want to play along, all you need to do is answer it on here--no need to link anything up...pretty easy, don't you think? And you're also welcome to come back and make comments on anything you read too.

Believe - such a small word, with so much power. Yes, BELIEVE.

Hi there Cindy,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post, and a great tag! What do I believe in? I always loved reading anything by the late Norman Vincent Peale, especially "The power of positive thinking". It's so easy to get caught up in negativity, but as he often said, "believe it, and you will see it!"
Great post Cindy and the work sherry did on this one is lovely. I quite simply believe in 'Love' love holds the key to everything (not the soppy kind of 'in love' but the absolute Love of people and life itself.

Believe reminds me of Christ and how many times He called and calls people to believe in Him.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday to you, my friend. Hope you're having a lovely day and that hubby dear is feeling completely recovered.
ReplyDeleteThis is a lovely, thought-provoking post. Truly, what we believe SHOULD determine how we live our lives. Sadly, it doesn't always work out that way, does it?
The tag is beautiful. Sherry did a fabulous job.
Love,
Patti

Hope you are having a great day. You know I love Sherrys work and Sherry. Believe makes me think of Believe in Jesus Christ; I just hope and pray for so many each day that they will.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kim
What do I believe? I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He took my sins to the cross at Calvary and died there. I believe He rose again on the third day and is sitting at the right hand of the Father making intersession for the likes of me. That's what I believe. I'm not sure of anything else. But that I truly believe. God bless, Bobbi
ReplyDeleteLovely post, Cindy...very thought-provoking! It probably would be a good thing to do often...to see if how we live our lives is representative of what we believe...
ReplyDeleteSometimes we live such fast and busy lives that we don't take the time to ask ourselves these questions. We are blinded by the buzzing sounds inside our minds to complete everything on our to do list. We get consumed in the things we feel we have to do every minute of the day. This is such a great post because it reminds us that we need to pause every now and then to think of the things we believe in. The things that are important in our lives. And the pathway that is created by the things we believe in.
